Origin / For emerging fashion founders

You’ve been thinking about starting a fashion brand.
Let’s actually build it.

Brand identity

Your own fully functional e-commerce store

Your first campaign

You probably already have more of it in your head than you realise. A name you keep coming back to. A folder full of references. A product you wish somebody would make properly. Maybe even samples sitting in your room.

What you don’t have is a brand yet.

Origin takes you from the idea in your head to a fashion brand people can actually discover, understand and buy from.

₹75,000

For emerging fashion founders.

Bring us the idea.
Leave with a brand.

01

The hardest part isn’t having the idea.
It’s knowing what to do next.

Who designs the identity?

Who builds the website?

What should the brand look like?

How do I present the products?

What do I put on the homepage?

How much do I need before launch?

Who makes sure it all looks like the same brand?

All the right steps exist. The order is what confuses.

So the folder stays on your laptop. The samples stay samples.

And six months later, you’re still saying:

“I’m working on something.”

Origin exists to get you past that point.

We build the identity, the store and the first visual world together.

One visual language.
One direction.
One brand.

One less thing to figure out on your own.

Not just a logo. We create the visual language your brand will live inside.

The goal isn’t to make something pretty. The goal is to make your brand feel intentional.

05

What happens after you apply?

01 →

Tell us what you’re building.

02 →

We look at the idea, product and stage.

03 →

If Origin makes sense, we speak.

04 →

We align on what needs to be built.

05

We start turning the idea into the brand.

“I don’t have everything figured out.”

You don’t need to.

Possible starting points:

A complete collection

Three samples

One hero product

A name and an idea

A moodboard

A strong aesthetic but no execution

Origin is built for the messy middle between “I have an idea” and “I have a brand.”

“What if my idea isn’t good enough?”

Better to find out before you spend lakhs producing it.

If the positioning is unclear, we’ll tell you.

If the brand looks like twenty others already on Instagram, we’ll push it.

If the customer doesn’t make sense, we’ll question it.

If the aesthetic says luxury but the product says something else, we’ll catch it.

You’re not paying us to agree with you.

“I don’t know anything about websites.”

You don’t need to.

You shouldn’t have to learn web development to launch a fashion brand. That’s our job.

Your job is to know what you’re trying to create. We turn that into the store.

“I can probably do the logo myself.”

You probably can.

You can also build a website yourself. Shoot products yourself. Make Instagram posts yourself.

Origin is for founders who don’t merely want the brand to exist. They want it to arrive properly.

“I started a clothing page.”

“I launched a brand.”

“I’m a student. ₹75,000 is still a lot.”

It is.

This is not ₹75,000 for a logo.

It is not ₹75,000 for a website.

It is not ₹75,000 for a photoshoot.

Identity + e-commerce + campaign + launch direction. Built as one system.

If all you need is a logo, Origin is unnecessary. If all you need is somebody to install a cheap template, Origin is unnecessary.

If you’re ready to give your idea a serious first version, that’s where Origin makes sense.

07

More products do not automatically make you look more established.

You don’t need a huge first collection.

Five things people remember.

More SKUs mean:

More inventory

More capital trapped in stock

More photography

More product pages

More sizing complexity

More decisions

We would rather help you launch five things people remember than twenty things nobody understands.

08

Beige background.
Serif logo.
Editorial model.
Done.

Wall of pinned fashion references and printed moodboard tearsheets

That isn’t a brand strategy anymore. It’s camouflage.

Your references are a starting point. Not the answer.

If somebody can swap your logo for another brand’s and nothing feels wrong, we haven’t done enough.

09

We know what it’s like to build inside fashion.

Dress form and unfinished garment in a dark studio

Fashion NUT comes from actually building inside fashion. Collections. Campaigns. Websites. Customers. Pricing. Good decisions. Bad decisions. And the deeply unglamorous parts nobody puts on Instagram.

A fashion brand is not simply a design exercise. Eventually somebody has to:

Want the product

Understand the price

Trust the website

Press Buy

We build for the real world, not just the moodboard.

10

What Origin doesn’t do

We don’t manufacture the collection

We don’t source fabrics

We don’t promise success

We don’t run the business after launch

We don’t hide a weak product behind pretty design

You bring the ambition and the product. We build the world around it.

11

Who Origin is for

Origin makes sense if:

You’ve wanted to launch your own fashion brand for a while.

You already have samples or are developing them.

You have an idea but no coherent brand.

You care about how the brand looks and feels.

You want something more considered than DIY.

You’re willing to make decisions.

You’re actually planning to launch.

Origin probably isn’t for you if:

You only want the cheapest possible website.

You want somebody else to run your business.

You have no idea what you want to sell.

You want us to copy another brand.

You aren’t actually planning to launch.

12

Questions founders ask

Do I need to have my products ready?

Not necessarily. Plenty of founders come to us with samples still in development, or one finished piece and a plan for the rest. What we do need is enough clarity on the product to build a brand that genuinely fits it. If the product is still changing shape every week, the identity ends up chasing it, and that costs you time.

Do I need a brand name?

No. Some founders arrive with a name they have been sitting on for a year, others with nothing at all. If you have one, we work with it. If naming needs real development, we scope that separately rather than burying it inside the build.

Will my store actually take orders?

Yes. Real checkout, real payments, real order confirmations. It is a working shop from the day you launch, not a design mockup or a coming soon page with an email box on it.

Will it work on mobile?

Yes, and mobile is where we start. Most of your first customers will arrive from Instagram on a phone, so that version gets designed properly rather than squeezed down from the desktop one at the end.

Do you add my products?

We build the initial store around the launch assortment we agree together, using the product information and imagery you supply. Adding products after launch is straightforward, and we show you how to do it yourself so you are not dependent on us for every new drop.

Where do the campaign images come from?

They are created specifically for your brand, built around the identity and visual direction we develop for it, rather than pulled from a stock library. That is the point of doing the identity first: the campaign has something to be faithful to.

Can I use the creatives on Instagram?

Yes. They are yours to use across Instagram, your store, email and paid ads. We deliver them in the crops and formats those places actually need, so you are not recropping everything yourself the week you launch.

Do you handle manufacturing?

No. We do not manufacture, source fabric or manage production, and we would rather be straight about that than pretend otherwise. That side stays with you and your suppliers. We build the brand around the product you are making.

Do you run my Instagram?

No. Origin gets you to launch with a visual world and a bank of creatives ready to post. Running the account day to day afterwards is a different job and is not part of this. If you want ongoing creative once you are live, that is a separate conversation.

Is Origin only for fashion students?

No. Students and recent graduates are a large part of who we work with, but Origin is for anyone launching their first fashion brand properly, whatever route brought them there.

You have the idea.
Let’s make it exist.

Origin includes

Application received

Something just started.

Most people who love fashion never get to make any of it. You want the other thing: your own name on the label, a brand that is yours from the first sketch, built the way you would build it and nobody else. And one day, a stranger in the street wearing something you made.

Here is what happens now. We go through your application ourselves. Then we set up a short call, ten or fifteen minutes, to hear what you are making and what you want the brand to stand for. After that we both decide whether Origin is the right fit.

This is how brands begin.

Nothing else to do right now. Go back to the product.

That didn’t send. Try again, or email us and we’ll pick it up from there.

No long forms. Just enough to start.
